M42, the Orion Nebula photographed by Robert Price using a 10 inch SCT at F/6.2. Exposure was 60 minutes on Konica SR-V (100 ASA) film. This photograph was printed using the daylight filter pack which did not correct the color mis-balance caused by the long exposure. The strong magenta cast is the result of the color mis-balance.
